The Challenge:
When I was tasked with designing the packaging for royaltea's Glass Bear Cup, the challenge was to create an unforgettable visual experience that would not only capture the essence of the product but also elicit a sense of surprise and desire among potential customers.

The Strategy:
My strategy was built around the idea of crafting a packaging design that would captivate and intrigue potential buyers. I transformed the packaging into a canvas for storytelling, with the bear cup serving as the center piece of the narrative. The box's sides were meticulously utilized to display essential information while continuing the factory conveyor belt element through a dark pattern background, creating a visual journey that unfolded as customers explored the packaging.

The bear cup itself became a miniature world, housing a milk tea manufacturing factory. This surprise element was strategically revealed through die-cut windows, enticing customers to peer inside. I employed vibrant colors, engaging illustrations, and a playful tone to evoke a sense of wonder and excitement. The packaging design aimed not only to inform but also to ignite curiosity, making customers eager to experience the product.

Reflect:
In hindsight, my design strategy was a success, as evidenced by impressive sales results in A/B testing with another design. The packaging's surprise element and storytelling approach resonated with customers, making Royaltea a symbol of creativity and innovation in a competitive market. This project reaffirmed the power of design in creating engaging and memorable product experiences that drive sales.
