Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) is a mental illness. People who have this illness constantly worry about the way they look. They may believe an inconspicuous or non-existent physical attribute is a serious defect. They respond to this by performing repetitive acts such as mirror checking or comparing their appearance with others. The perceived flaw and the repetitive behaviours cause significant distress and impact ability to function in daily life.

Including font design, illustrations, brochure and opening animation beased on photography of people’s “flaws”, both male and female. Through the elements of a distorted mirror, the viewer can better understand BDD's symptoms. One of the treatments include learning to tolerate the distress of ‘exposing’ perceived defect to others and in not performing rituals related to appearance concerns. The main theme is to embrace flaws and the real self. Although they seems ugly to you, they can be beautiful together and what’s really matters is they form who you truly are.
